About Me
Wood Orchard is a family-owned fruit farm in beautiful Door County, Wisconsin. Established in 1955 by Jim and Barbara Wood after moving from St. Louis, their son Steve and grandson Jeff took over operations, growing the farm to over 200 acres of strawberries, raspberries, apples, and of course, Door County Cherries.

We love bringing the new apple varieties to Wisconsin and are at the forefront of apple innovation. The SweeTango® (think Honeycrisp meets Zestar) and Smitten varieties are popular with our guests!

Our Market opened in 1996 as a simple roadside fruit stand and quickly grew into something extra special. And our core beliefs of faith, friends and family continue to attract local families and visitors alike year after year.
